Cerberus:
Essentially a Zombie dog. They have a tendancy to be hanging around outdoor areas, or to break through windows in hallways that are adjacent to outdoor areas. Because they were once dogs, they move quickly. In this game, they aren't terribly agile, so it's not too hard to shoot them. I recommend using the handgun to kill them, or if you're having trouble use the Shotgun. If you're very brave, you can use the knife, but I don't recommend it.

Zombie:
I think this is a little self-explanatory, but it looks like a reanimated corpse. However, in Resident Evil things aren't quite as black and white as that. This is the most common enemy found in the game. They may be slow, but they are strategically placed just around corners which gives them the advantage of surprise attacks. They can also sometimes appear to be dead, when they, in fact, are not. If you go too close to them you'll find yourself grabbed while they're laying on the ground...I recommend the Hangun...

Crow:
They aren't seen very often in the game, but when they are, there are usually several of them. Firing off a gun can make them attack you, so it's really best if you just try to sneak past them, whenever possible. They don't cause much damage, but they can be extremely annoying. If you must fight them, I recommend the handgun.

Bee:
You will encounter Bees mostly in the Residence, and even there you won't see many. The Bees are small, and can be easily taken out with a handgun, but I don't recommend killing them at all. They're easy to outrun, so you should just avoid them, and use the spray to kill them. I would only kill them if they are becoming an extreme nuisance to you.

Neptune:
These are a group of Sharks you encounter only in the flooded Aqua Ring. There's really not much strategy to beating them aside from simply running from them, and draining the water, which will successfully kill them.

Hunter:
Hunters are a creature that looks a little bit like a Lizard, with giant claws. Hunters are very fast, and very lethal, especially if you're playing as Chris Redfield. Jill gets and extra weapon that makes these creatures easier to defeat. I've never seen a Hunter do a one-hit-kill on the easy mode of the game, but I believe they are able to do it on more difficult versions of the game. In the Arrange mode of the game, both characters find the weapons in different areas, so the Hunters are a bit less difficult to defeat. The trick to Hunters is to kill them as quickly as possible, and before they can get close. I recommend using the Bazooka or Colt Python with Jill, and the Colt Python with Chris. And if you don't have the Colt Python... use the Shotgun, carry around a ton of herbs, and pray.

Giant Spider:
A Giant Spider is... well... a giant Spider. They can be very annoying because they will climb on the walls and ceiling and can drop down right in front of the character, at times. They're also fairly strong and not easily defeated with a Handgun. You will encounter these both in the Guardhouse, and when you return to the Mansion itself. I recommend keeping the Shotgun handy for them.

Nude Zombie:
Nude Zombies are much like regular Zombies, except that they are naked, of course, and much stronger than your average Zombie. They appear only in the Laboratory near the end of the game, and they can be quite troublesome if you are caught by them unaware... However, I still recommend that you only use the Handgun, just make sure you put enough space between yourself and the Zombie.

Chimera:
Chimeras are large insect type creatures. They tend to run along the ceiling, and will lift the character up from the ground, sometimes killing them instantly. If you're caught by one the best thing to do is mash buttons to try and free the character. These creatures can be fast, and difficult to defeat, so I recommend you use the Shotgun, Bazooka, or Colt Python on them. However you should only use the Colt Python if you have an overabundance of ammunition.

Giant Vine:
In the Mansion, you will encounter a Giant Vine. This Vine is in front of a necessary item, and it will whip the character anytime they try to go near it. There is only one way to defeat this Vine. You have to get the Herbicide, and dump it in the water that's found in the room, then flip the switch to the right setting to water the Vine with Herbicide.

Yawn:
You will encounter Yawn Twice... Yawn is a Giant Snake, and it can be a rather infuriating boss. The first time you find Yawn, you're in a small room with a bunch of boxes, and twists and turns. It can be difficult to defeat Yawn, even if you're Jill. Jill has the Bazooka to go up against Yawn with, but Chris doesn't have anything but a Shotgun. Unfortunately, I would say that you should just try to outrun Yawn, but that's actually very difficult. The best advice I can give, is that it is really easier if you can at all manage to shoot Yawn enough times to make it leave, during the first battle, and move around as often as possible.

In the second battle with Yawn, you will have to kill it. You will again be in a rather small room, but it's easier to maneuver. If at all possible I recommend using the Bazooka or Colt Python with Jill, and the Colt Python with Chris... If Chris doesn't have the Colt Python, yet, or if you just don't want to use it, I wish you the best of luck with the Shotgun. In Arrange Mode... use the Colt Python with Chris, and use the Bazooka or Colt Python with Jill.

Plant 42:
Plant 42 is a giant plant that is found in a large room in the Residence. You will also encounter a few vines belonging to Plant 42, that will come up through the floor. Put crates over the holes they come through to keep your character from being grabbed. Plant 42 is most easily defeated if you make the V-Jolt with Jill. The V-Jolt weakens Plant 42, and makes it much easier to defeat. Chris will always get the V-Jolt, because in this game, when he goes in to where Plant 42 is, Rebecca will come in, take the file and leave to make the V-Jolt. Then you will have to take out Plant 42, with Chris. I recommend using the Shotgun, since that's really all he has. In Arrange Mode, he will have the Colt Python, and you can use that, but as much as possible just try and use the Shotgun. You should also be careful of Plant 42's vines that are attached to the bulbs. These vines can lift the character up and snap them in half.

Black Tiger:
This is a large black and red spider, which is much larger than the average Giant Spiders. It can be VERY annoying, especially if you're playing as Chris. Jill can take it out without too much trouble with some Flame Grenades in the Grenade Launcher. Chris will have to use the Flamethrower, which is... well... not quite as effective. There are other weapons you can use, but this boss is particularly weak against fire.

Tyrant:
You will fight this boss twice in the game. The first time is near the end, when it will break out of it's tank. It's really best if you can run past the Tyrant without getting hit, and get yourself a good distance away from him. The Tyrant has a few attacks. It will swipe at the character, or it will run forward and swipe. These blows can be very devastating. I recommend going up against this boss with the Colt Python, or the Bazooka with Acid Grenades loaded.

The second time you encounter the Tyrant will be on the roof, and a timer will be going. The Tyrant is a bit stronger now, so I hope you saved some Ammunition. Again, I would recommend using the Colt Python, or the Bazooka with Acid Rounds loaded, and moving around OFTEN. When you have caused enough damage to the Tyrant, Brad will toss down a Rocket Launcher. To defeat the Tyrant you have to pick up the Rocket Launcher, and use it on the Tyrant. It should also be noted that you can skip this final battle if you let Barry or Rebecca die, depending on which character you're playing as. However, I really can't tell you how to do that, because I have tried MANY Times to kill Rebecca and have yet to accomplish it.
